Basic information
Poultry depilator is a feather removal machine used to remove the feather of a chicken after butchered. It is also suitable for the peeling of ginger, potato, and the skin removing of fish, poultry depilator is the ideal way to automatic depilator poultry after slaughtering
A process and apparatus for de-feathering a bird comprises simultaneously removing feathers from the bird and spraying an antimicrobial agent containing solution to contact a surface of the bird; and massaging the antimicrobial agent containing solution into hair and feather follicles of the birds
A process for de-feathering a bird comprising of the simultaneously removing of feathers from the bird and spraying an antimicrobial agent containing solution to contact a surface of the bird and massaging the antimicrobial agent containing solution into hair and feather follicles of the bird, a process for de-feathering a bird, the process comprising, conveying a suspended bird along a predetermined generally horizontal path of travel and applying a series of forces to the bird while suspended to remove the feathers therefrom, the lines of action of the forces being generally parallel to the path of travel of the bird and transverse to a grain of the feathers and spraying the bird with an antimicrobial agent containing solution while removing the feathers
Chicken cage helps in the reduction of the harmful effects of feather pecking, cannibalism and vent-pecking, hens in battery cages (and other housing systems) are often kept at low light intensities (e.g. less than 10 lux). Low light intensities may be associated with welfare costs to the hens as they prefer to eat in brightly lit environments and prefer brightly lit areas for active behaviour but dim (less than 10 lux) for inactive behavior
Dimming the lights can also cause problems when the intensity is then abruptly increased temporarily to inspect the hens, this has been associated as a risk factor of increased feather pecking and the birds can become frightened resulting in panic-type ("hysteria") reactions which can increase the risk of injury
Being indoors, hens in battery cages do not see sunlight. Whilst there is no scientific evidence for this being a welfare problem, some animal advocates indicate it is a concern. Furnished cages and some other non-cage indoor systems would also prevent hens seeing natural light throughout their lives
Product description
The poultry farm depilator material uses the stainless steel and plastic, conforms to the food health requirement, the structure motor drives gear wheel, which effectively protect the device in case water-entering may lead to damage when cleaning. It is easy to operation, save manpower and time, and of high working efficiency as well as more than 10% manpower
A de-feathering apparatus, comprising housing, rotating disc disposed in the housing comprising a plurality of rubber fingers projecting from the disc for contacting the poultry carcass; and a spray manifold mounted in the housing assembly and in fluid communication with a holding tank containing an antimicrobial agent, wherein the spray nozzles are oriented to coat the poultry carcass with the antimicrobial agent
Original battery cages are not mere cages with wire mesh floor and essential heating elements for brooding chickens. Quality and superior battery cages are designed to outweigh an ordinary wire mesh cage. The wire floor is designed to allow manure go through it, taking it away from the chickens surroundings and eventually minimizing the risks of manure-borne diseases. This will keep the chickens healthy and make chicken rearing a task worthwhile for the poultry farmer

Functions of a depilator
1. When slaughtering chickens and ducks, the knife edge should be as small as possible. After slaughter, chickens, ducks and ducks should be immersed in warm water (about 30 degrees) to warm the feathers
2. Heat the soaked chicken and duck in hot water of about 75 degrees, and stir with a wooden stick to make it even
3. Put the hot chicken and duck into the machine, 1-3 at a time
4. Put on the knife switch, the machine starts, the machine runs, and the feathers are sucked dry within one minute, except for the dirt on the skin of the whole body
5. It is used to remove various poultry feathers. Compared with traditional similar products, it has a special depilation effect on feathers, and the speed is more than ten times that of artificial plucking
Functions of a battery cage
1. Beak-trimming
It helps to reduce the harmful effects of feather pecking, cannibalism and vent pecking. Most chicks eventually going into battery cages are beak-trimmed. This is often performed on the first day after hatching, simultaneously with sexing and receiving vaccinations. Beak-trimming is a procedure considered by many scientists to cause acute pain and distress with possible chronic pain; it is practiced on chicks for all types of housing systems, not only battery cages
2. Helps in the increment of egg production
It helps to increase the potentials of egg production. A chicken that is healthy will significantly become more productive than chickens reared in environments that do not boost their health, enriched battery cages increase the potential of egg production in chickens. In fact, recent estimations reveal that sixty percent of eggs used in products such as mayonnaise, sandwiches and cakes are from chickens reared in battery cages. This reveals that chickens have more tendencies to produce eggs in battery cages compared to other rearing systems. It is more advisable to use battery cages to aid egg production
3. It has the ability to boost the health of the chickens
Battery cages are very good means of accommodating your chickens in healthy conditions that will boost their reproduction. Many poultry farmers do not get healthy results from their chicken rearing because they have ignored the use of battery cages
4. It involves qualitative feeding for the chickens
The battery cage system makes feeding for chickens a habitual process which connotes more care for the chickens. This is because the chickens are fed through a long bisected metal or plastic pipe and water is served to them with overhead nipple systems which are set before the chickens. This makes it easy for the poultry farmer to care for the chickens with frequent and adequate food and water
5. It reduces the low cost of labour
Battery cage reduces labour by the poultry farmer. This is because the chickens are well-organized and conducted to be in rows with several facilities for their feeding, carriers of their faeces droppings adequately positioned and the eggs rolling to the appropriate places designed in the battery cages. The poultry farmer will simply do the job of pouring food and water in the designated areas, cleaning the faeces that drop and packing the eggs. This reduces stress for the farmer and the need to employ many workers for poultry farms will be minimized. In the long run, poultry farming will be more rewarding for the poultry workers
6. Poultry Battery Cages Have Feeders that Minimize Feed Spillage
Battery cages make it easy for poultry farmers to care adequately for their chickens, despite this dire need to take care of the chickens, battery cages help the poultry farmer to minimize feed spillage when feeding chickens. It is easy to minimize feed spillage with battery cages because they are designed with standard accessories for holding food and water, especially the amount required for feeding the chickens daily. This disallows any form of feed spillage and wastage. Instead of feed spillage, the chickens keep feeding on the required amount of food specifically provided in front of them
